Boer Goats

Boer Goats originate from South Africa “Boer” meaning Farmer in Afrikans. Boer goats are traditionally used as a meat animal which is one of the reasons we keep them here. We keep a small herd with plans to have no more than six breeding does and one buck, currently we have three adult females and at the end of 2016 the oldest two gave us another two females so we only require ne more doe to complete our herd.

The goats are named, Athos, Clemantine, Flora, Constance, Ophelia and Beatrice, from these we will breed 100% pedigree lines and hope to sell the offspring good enough for breeding to others enthusiastic about the breed, all those not up to standard will be sent for meat and you can buy goat meat from us here.
